How Much Does a Pinterest Manager Charge? Price Guide for 2025

Updated:

If you’re looking into hiring a Pinterest manager, you may wonder what reasonable amount you can expect to pay.

The answer is – it depends.

If your budget is very low, you may need to look for someone with less experience, willing to take on new clients to build up their portfolio.

Pinterest VA or Pinterest manager with less experience may still be able to grow your account, but you’re also taking a small risk that things won’t work out the way you want them to.

On the other hand, you shouldn’t be paying thousands if you really don’t see the value in the service.

As a Pinterest manager myself, I can give you a bit of guidance, and offer some tips to consider before hiring one.

How Much Does a Pinterest Manager Charge?

Based on my experience and the current market conditions, here is what you can expect to pay:

Junior Pinterest VA: From $300 per month

A lot of people in this space start out as Pinterest VAs – whether that’s on platforms like Upwork, Fiverr or pitching to individual clients.

You can spot them very easily – they often don’t have a website and their prices are relatively low compared to the market averages.

There is nothing wrong with using this service, but as I mentioned these people are ‘new’ to the market and don’t have as much experience and expertise as more senior marketing professionals.

They can still do a great job on your account, and they may be more open to follow your guidance in terms of posting schedule, keyword selection or other ways you like to do your Pinterest content.

However, if you can afford it, it’s worth spending the couple hundred extra to get someone a bit more senior to drive the growth on your account.

Experienced Pinterest Manager: From $500 – $800 per month

Pinterest managers with lots of experience and clients in multiple niches tend to charge from $500 per month and more.

I think this is a very reasonable amount you can expect to pay for someone to completely manage your account, from keyword research, account optimization, monthly scheduling, canva pin designs and updates on progress.

What you will notice is that the ‘packages’ vary quite a lot.

One manager will only do 100 pins per month for $500 while others offer up to 300 pins per month for the same price.

Make sure you check the packages and understand what they mean.

My service falls into this category. I’ve been using Pinterest for over 10 years and want to make it affordable, so I have three different packages to suit businesses of different sizes and marketing needs.

Pinterest Management Agency: From $1,000 – $1,500 per month

I also came across a few agencies that charge very high prices for the same amount of work that a normal VA or manager would do.

The main reason, I believe, is the fact that running an agency is more expensive (cost of staff, premises, advertising etc), so they need to charge a lot more to make the business profitable.

There are a few bigger agencies in this space and I’m sure you’ve heard about them.

As I don’t have any experience with them, I can’t comment on whether or not they are a good choice for you, but I do recommend checking the packages and comparing them to other services.

What Determines the Price of Pinterest Management

Here are the main factors that have a direct impact on the price of Pinterest management:

  • number of fresh pins scheduled each month
  • number of new canva pin designs
  • number of articles or pieces of content scheduled
  • quality of client’s content (sometimes stock photos have to be used)
  • amount of work on boards and profile
  • customer support (email, phone or other)
